Android OS iodéOS #382
-
iodéOS is an open source Android OS which focuses on privacy. It runs on devices which Graphene OS, Calyx OS, and others don't support, and has some built-in apps and tweaks. I've been using it for about a year and have little complaints. I think it should be added to Privacy Guides. |

I really see no reason for listing this. You shouldn't be using this honestly. Take something that is hardened and actually brings you privacy instead of promises you can't verify. On the website it mentions open source, but if you read clearly it only mentions that it uses open source components. Like every software ever. Android itself is open source... I mean this really means nothing. Verified boot is essential and afaik also a requirement for being listed on the website. Divest-OS is listed as alternative for devices because it does support this on devices where this is possible and supports a wider range of devices. |

To quote myself: https://gitlab.com/iode < forks and device trees Even if PG team wants to start helping with proprietary sw, I think we can all agree there is no need replacing stock with a proprietary ROM, when we have great FOSS alternatives. |
