Right now, the view contains a tiny white dot for the DirectionalLight and some other orange and white lines. By default, I think these should not appear anywhere in the view. There could be a separate mode, "edit scene" or "edit lights and cameras" in which one sees icons for the lights and cameras at their locations, and can be moved around.

Users will want to save images that don't contain the white/orange lines/dots.

Ah thanks! I would not have thought "Debug" would do that. Do you think there might be a better term? People may want to rearrange cameras even if nothing is "wrong" (nothing to debug).

Other names that come to mind: Helpers or flip logic and have Production (vs Draft). Any thoughts or preferences @chrisdembia

Those are better than "Debug." I'm still afraid that users won't know what "helpers" etc mean. Is it only cameras and lights that we would want to hide? If so, we could be very specific: "Show camera and light (helpers|icons)".

I also like the mindset of "Production" vs "Draft" but I am not sure users will know what this refers to without more info (like a tooltip).

I'm leaning now to remove this toggle completely and add a "preview button that removes these only for a few seconds. The reason is that selection doesn''t work when current "Debug" is off. We'll always turn these off when taking snapshot or recording video but they should stay on otherwise. Other option is for the specific Camera, lights to have their own checkboxes.
