Apologies if this is a duplicate, as I haven't had tome to read all the open issues yet.
With the new ToD view when showing certain reduced selections of technologies it's not possible to easily discern where the 'zero line' / X-Axis is i.e. tell me what energy is being exported and what energy on the graph is being imported. The discrete view seems to have the solution applied already (se reply below for an issue there).
Beyond that, I'd consider adding a preferences option to have "gridlines in front" to use a very old desktop publishing software concept. I know you dont want too many things in the preferences popup, but it's pretty important for reading the graphs that people can clearly read them, and with glasses on I have excellent eyesight, for visually impaired or 'colour blind' it gets progressively more difficult (#accessibility)
There's also a minor issue with the black text for axis titles and labels (numbers) on top of purple and other dark colours from data elements being illegible. I guess these different issues need to be considered holistically so mentioning it here rather than logging a seperate issue.
The text was updated successfully, but these errors were encountered:
seems like in discrete view the horizontal grid lines do default to “show above" but I find them impossible to see against the colours of wind and exports (and possibly others). I can see the grid lines easily against green in the enlarged screenshot but not at normal screen size on my big desktop monitors.
also seems like vertical gridlines default to “show behind” in discrete view
