Background

Previous versions of Ontogen CLI encountered issues with color support in executables built by the CI system. These issues affected releases distributed via GitHub and the Homebrew package. Version 0.1.2 implements changes aimed at resolving these color output problems.

Current Status

  • Ontogen CLI v0.1.2 has been released with updates to address the color display issues.
  • The MacOS executables, for which the problem appeared first, are now fixed. In this release, MacOS executables were built on a system where color support has proven to work.
  • Feedback from users on different operating systems and environments would be valuable to verify this solution.

Expected Behavior

The Ontogen CLI (og) should display colored output as shown in this screenshot:

Community Feedback

Your experience with Ontogen CLI v0.1.2 would help until an automated end-to-end integration test is in place. After you've upgraded to this version with

$ brew upgrade ontogen

please share:

  • Operating system and version
  • Color support status (working or not)
  • Installation method

Quick feedback option:

  • Colors working: 👍
  • Color issues: 👎

Thank you. 🙏🏻
