No updates since mid 2018. Is anyone taking care of this? The places autocomplete has a serious bug that renders it barely usable (#293). @allenhwkim what's the status?

It doesn't seem to be... but that doesn't mean that's not completely abandoned.
Do you have a fix implemented by any chance?
