If you use the dynamic wallpaper picker on iOS, you get the option to choose if you want to see cities, landscapes, or specific people from your photos gallery. I've been wondering if it would be possible to achieve a similar functionality with Nextcloud.
The recognize app already allows me to filter between the categories mentioned. But not all of these photos would qualify as a "nice" wallpaper. Both Google and Apple seem filter the photos for wallpaper eligibility when using their dynamic wallpaper pickers.
My idea would be to add a model for "wallpaper recognition", for tagging images of both people and scenes that could be used as wallpapers. Based on that additional information, it would be possible to build wallpaper picker apps for phones and desktop, with a functionality similar to what I initially described.
