@jancborchardt @nimishavijay What do you think?

This is how it looks like in Thunderbird with daily events:

Great idea! Google does this as well, I have pasted some screenshots:

This is what it looks like for the invited people:

  • events that you haven't accepted or declined (invited) are outlined
  • events that you accepted are solid
  • events that you responded "Maybe" (tentative) has a striped bg
  • declined events are outlined and striked out

image

This is what it looks like for the person who is organizing the events:

  • events declined by all attendees are outlined, and when you open the event there is a small indication saying everyone else declined the event
  • events that you have responded "Maybe" have a striped bg (not shown in this screenshot)
  • events that you have declined are striked out (also not shown in this screenshot)
  • all other kinds of events are solid

image

This seems pretty comprehensive, we could do it in the same way. What do you think? also cc @jancborchardt

Note : we currently strike and add transparency for events that have the cancelled status (STATUS:CANCELLED).

I appreciate all the work on the NextCloud calendar, but I must admit that is very counterintuitive when moving from Google Calendar. It seems like a basic feature each other commonly used calendar utility has. Is this feature on the roadmap?

Hello, we are testing nextcloud in my company and we hope that this feature will be develop. Is there something we could do to help for it ?

At list, Is it just possible to visualize invitation outlined as soon as there is no validation so that we could distinguish it ? Best regards
