Sudden losses of power can lead to many node issues. To reduce these issues MyNode could implement power shutdown support in linux to allow for automatic shutdown of the node if the UPS is about to lose power due to low battery.
Describe the solution you'd like
Support for NUTS or another power control built into MyNode and GUI interface in settings.
Plug and play support for UPS devices connected to USB and basic settings to allow the user to either choose a time frame for auto shutdowns or shutdown based on remaining battery level.
Additional context
Noderunners may not have the technical knowledge to setup a UPS system on Linux. Currently if someone manually sets up this feature it would/could be lost during an upgrade or re-flash of the OS.
It would be good if this feature could be built-in to help users protect against data loss and hardware issues. It could reduce support tickets due to power loss. As a feature it could increase the number of users running UPS devices if it's officially supported.
Mark this if you searched the existing list of open/closed issue and did not find anything similar
