Issue type

General playback bug

Description with steps to reproduce

This is a longtime complaint especially with Drumline Users. Although libraries are completely difgferent, this would happen frequently with MDL scores in MS3 as well

It seems that it is easy for sounds to get "backed up" causing a loud "bang" to play seemingly randomly. I imagine it can happen with any library or large, dense score, but it seems easiest to reproduce with drumline scores.

I have a score I can consistently reproduce with, I am happy to share internally. Unfortunately reproduction steps are not so helpful.

  1. Write a drumline score with lots of notes
  2. Solo an instrument via range selection, play
  3. Stop, click somewhere on the score, a loud bang will play
