MultiVAC Offline Tools

     

Introduction：

The offline tools of MultiVAC can support the following functions in Go 1.12 version:

1. Create MultiVAC account, including: private key, public key, mnemonic seed, and keystore.
2. Use private key to make signature of a transaction.
3. Use mnemonic seed or keystore to retrieve private key.

Install & Compile：

git clone https://github.com/multivactech/Offline-Tools.git

go build -o tool

Use：

./tool -h
Check executable subcommand        
./tool
├── generate [keystore password] （Notes: this password is the newly set one. Please keep it safe）                 //By password return: public key, private key, mnemonic seed, keystore local file
├── recover
│   ├── bykeystore [keystore Path] [keystore Password]（Notes: this password was set for the account previously）   //Use keystore to retrieve private key
│   └── bymnemonic [mnemonic phrases]                                                                              //Use mnemonic phrases to retrieve private key
├── sign [private key] [signature info]                                                                            //Using private key to make signature and return a signature complete info
└── version                                                                                                        //return the current offline tool version info

Example:

Generate a new account

Note: keystore file is created in the current binary directory. Create keystore will print creation path and file name.

Notice:：

1. Mnemonic seed is equal to private key. If mnemonic seed is known, so is the private key. Please keep your mnemonic seed safe and confidential.
2. Please remember the info in keystore password. Please don’t modify any information or you can not use keystore to recover private key.
3. These tools support Windows operation system. Don’t add "./" on windows platform.（ ./tool ======> tool）
