It would be good to have kind of a "debug" mode to help identifying problems better. The "debug" mode can be enabled, for example, by simple start api-designer --debug_mode=true or something.

People could use the debug mode to post the stack trace to github, so it is easier for us to identify the root cause.

For debugging we could use https://github.com/visionmedia/debug.
