Hi all,
This is an amazing project and I am very happy that such a driver has been created for linux. It was one of the major points for me to ditch Windows on my Asus Laptop.
Long story short, I like the systemd-free concept and I have chosen the MXLinux21 distro for that matter (debian based). The drivers worked when I booted MXLinux with systemd, but normally I use the distro with sysV init and I was wondering if a solution exist for users that do not use systemd?.

For instance, it is not related but this tutorial to limit the max charging % of battery has a workaround with a cron for systemd-free distros.
