Go to Definition support in Jenkins groovy scripts

I'm using code-groovy to edit jenkins groovy scripts and classes, there seems to be no support for Go to definition in this use case. I have not used code-groovy for other groovy use contexts so i don not know if this is a general problem for groovy, or just in the Jenkins use case.

I know it's possible as InteliJ seems to work find for code navigation/intelisense style method definition jumping.
