In iOS 11 Apple is exposing multipath TCP as an opt-in configuration on network requests. This allows for more robust network connectivity and the ability to migrate requests between wifi and cellular seamlessly for users. There is supposedly support for this in AWS ELB and there are EC2 images available as well for servers not behind a load balancer. Have we looked into this at all and have there been any discussions around this?
