Denied access to fontnik when installing on Ubuntu 18.04.1 LTS

I'm getting a 403 when trying to access to fontnik tar.
https://mapbox-node-binary.s3.amazonaws.com/fontnik/v0.4.8/node-v57-linux-x64.tar.gz

I had the same issue while using Node.js v9.10.0. The issue was gone after switching to v6.10.0.
Node version was the only change I made.

This error happens when a binary cannot be found for the current Node.js/operating system version combination. This has been a recurring source of confusion, and may be nice to address with better error messaging.
