NPCs and mobs are too small... #127
Comments
Alright I opened up the template in MySQL Workbench. Taurens are too small with a scale of 1.35. They should be 1.4 or 1.5. As they are currently, my female Tauren character is taller than male Taurens and even larger than Cairn Bloodhoof himself, who is larger than any other Tauren I can think of. Also, the Undead are much smaller than they should be. UPDATE Alright I was mistaken about the Tauren size. They seem a tad smaller than my male Tauren, but only if you look for it. Still, many other NPCs and mobs are too small. The zhevra are a good example, as are multiple Orc guards. Then again, I just had a thought. When my female Tauren druid transforms into a cat, is her scale adjusted correctly? If not, some of the NPCs I come across may seem small due to the oversized lion model. |
I have to request that you provide visual proof aka screenshots or videos showcasing the real size. |
No problem, links are below. I resized the images from 1600x1200 to 800x600 for faster viewing. I have the originals if you want them in full size, however. http://dhta.oesm.org/WoWScrnShot_093013_220600.jpg Oh and as for undead size, a human-controlled Undead player comes up to the height of a female Tauren's breasts. Yes, let the motorboat puns commence... |
I am running 2.0.8 and noticed tonight that many mobs and NPCs are way too small again. Zhevra runners, sunscale lashtails, Moonglade Wardens, and most Tauren in Thunder Bluff are smaller than my female Tauren druid.
