IMG images fail to load

This is on Lakka 2.2.1's build (x86_64). The IMGs are recognized by the database but don't boot when selected. Just a black screen. ISOs and CHD work fine.

img are mostly raw files(aka .bin in most common case). beetle's cdinterface requires you to load the accompanying .cue file or .ccd, not the raw binary.

iso do not work with beetle cores. not with pce at least.
