Add fallback for browsers that do not support addEventListener

Some very old browsers don't have addEventListener. It might be nice to have a fallback built in for these browsers.

There's polyfills and my minifill (build own configurable polyfill per project) as well. Don't change this, it's awesome! I hope you don't mind me creating a new utility like this based on your implementation.
