Hi guys,

if I use the command homebridge-playstation-login, the terminal in the HomeBridge UI gives back"Did not authenticate to any consoles.". What am I doing wrong?

Make sure that your PS5 is in the same network and turned on.

I am having this exact issue. I have been trying for months to get this to work. here is whats happening:
########

Authenticate to PS4-874? (y/n) y
Connecting to ...
No credentials for PS4-874 and unable to request (need root permissions).
Attempting to request root permissions now (we will relinquish them as soon as possible)...

We trust you have received the usual lecture from the local System
Administrator. It usually boils down to these three things:

#1) Respect the privacy of others.
#2) Think before you type.
#3) With great power comes great responsibility.

[sudo] password for homebridge:
Sorry, try again.

#########

this doesnt make any sense!

Any solutions here? I have the same problem. My playstation 5 and the homebridge are in the same network.

  • Homebridge-Playstation v1.4.2
  • homebridge v1.5.1
  • Node.js v16.18.0
  • npm v8.19.2
  • Ubuntu 20.04.5 LTS on a proxmox lxc

Same issue here, it worked once but Playstation was not responsive. So I tried to delete everything and reconfigure and now getting this no devices error even though PS5 is on the same network and powered on.
