Github rendering - fix non-latin characters #37

There seem to be javascript issues with encoding/decoding base64 data with non-latin characters.

There is a fix in 138eca7, but I'd like to see if we've fixed this completely.

Plus I'd like to know if we need to treat the URL any differently as well, since it contains base64 stuff
