The new version works OK, except it is prompting to solve the reCaptcha after the script has selected a date

reCAPTCHA keeps a score for you based on your requests/interactions with the website and decided which level of tasks to give you based on that score. You can't really know for sure what will trigger it, but could be just from a larger number of spammy looking requests from your IP address. I've found switching IPs (via proxy or vpn) can sometimes help.
