It looks like we can't publish 0.50.2 currently:

Likely this is because package.json does not have publishConfig, which could explain why the bot is not able to publish to npm.

Gonna start over, add publishConfig and start the release again.

0.50.2 was successfully published after landing the fixes: https://github.com/jupyterlab/jupyterlab-git/releases/tag/v0.50.2
