KDE

  • KDE - Kool Desktop Environment
  • 随着 KDE 社区和项目越来越多，Desktop Environment 从 KDE 中获得了新的名字 Plasma
  • KDE = Plasma + Other Applications
  • Kubuntu = Ubuntu + KDE + Plasma desktop

Install KDE On Ubuntu

  • complete KDE pack
sudo apt install kde-full
  • Plasma desktop with standard set of KDE apps(Kate/Konqueror/Kget/KMail/Dolphin/...)
sudo apt install kde-standard
  • minimal package of KDE
sudo apt install kde-standard
