rows, err := query.db.Query(ctx, "SELECT id, name FROM users")

Why I cannot get number of affected rows?

to make:

capacity:=len(rows)
users:=make([]*User,0,capacity)

The PostgreSQL protocol sends the rows before it sends how many rows were found.
