By now we highly likely merged some bad style.
Style review and fix of the entire repo is called for, rather sooner than later, in order to have consistent style in the whole repo.

Subpart: verify and unify ALL include guards. some are named LIBNAME_XXXX and some without LIBNAME. Consistency is key.

Subpart: fixed structure of files. Some header have first includes and then include guards, etc.
