Tab-Less App Mode

Could it be than the new window can be opened in app mode? like a mix of this extension and this recipe:

Sorry, I'm very in seeing this. I'm not sure I understand your request.

Are you saying that when browsing in a normal window, any new windows that are opened should be in app mode? If so, that's beyond the scope of this extension - I deliberately open new windows in the same state as their parent window.

I'd really like something like this too. Basically I'm trying to get rid of tabs altogether. It's not that big of a deal right now having the tab bar there but it's why I'm using this plugin right now 👍 I might have a few cycles I can put a PR together to add this maybe just as an optional thing you enable?

I use userChrome.css to get rid of the tabbar, but this solution is probably more suited if you don't want to use tabs at all, since the only way to reenable the tabbar is to edit the userChrome.css script.
BTW great extension, I really hate how firefox lacks some basic features despite being bloated.

@Sbozzolo I've been running the #25 PR that I made and it works pretty well. Ctrl + Shift + l to toggle.
