Checklist

  • I have updated to the latest available Home Assistant version.
  • I have cleared the cache of my browser.
  • I have tried a different browser to see if it is related to my browser.
  • I have tried reproducing the issue in safe mode to rule out problems with unsupported custom resources.

Describe the issue you are experiencing

The history graph UI is missing 2, previously available, crucial components in the latest version (2025.01.1). The ending date is not displayed, and the time span selectors for previous spans are missing (Last week, Last month, Last year, etc.). Also see the image attached. Rolling back to 2024.12.3 (the latest 2024 version I used) makes this part work again.

Describe the behavior you expected

The ending date is displayed on the history graph UI, along with the other time span selectors (Last week, Last month, Last year, etc.)

Looks like this is only on Firefox and only for the new Version Firefox-Version: 134.0. On Firefox Version 133.0 it works too. Try to take a look at it ...

It might be a FF regression, I haven't checked old versions. Though it's likely that in HA it can be fixed sooner than in FF...

The date range issue will be solved in: #23710 (comment)
Last week, last month, last year can be selected using this week and back, this month and back, this year and back. This way you can walk through the Weeks, Month, Years and for future extension there is space to add other time-ranges ..

No, it was not a mistake. Its now the same as Energy-Dashboard was always. But the
main reason was, that the list was too long on mobiles and using the previous button, the function is redundant: #23228. I'm not sure if it will make its way into a release, but this would allow for additional time spans and still keep the list as clear as possible: #23362
