Proplem CompositeImage Layer

I am using GDALImageLayer in my osgEarth application to add two .tif files to the CompositeImageLayer. However, during rendering, the CompositeImageLayer is cloring areas outside of the .tif files(as shownin the attached screenshot).
The behavior is unexpected. I believe the areas outside the .tif files should remain transparent or unchanged.
Could this be a bug in the rendering of CompositeImageLayer? Or is there something wrong with how I configured it?

Hi. For starters you need to replace CompositeElevation with CompositeImage, and replace GDALElevation with GDALImage.

The issue is actually with painting the map using the DEM layer. If I use an image layer, it does display the data on the screen. However, since there is no elevation layer, features like hillshade and color relief cannot be used.

In summary, when different areas are added to the compositeElevationLayer using gdalElevationLayer, the painting process produces incorrect results.

Those GeoTIFFs contain imagery data. They do not contain elevation data.

Besides, The reason I used the tif format in the previous example is because of the 'composite_elevation.earth' example found under the test folder.

Thanks for reporting this. I've pushed a fix for the issue you are seeing in 10c926f. Areas of NODATA should be transparent instead of blue with this commit.
