MIDI Out support for .dsp syntax

Hello. I need to make mono RMS detector, and MIDI emitter of processed value in form of typical 0xb0 0x02 0xNN MIDI messages @ 10...50 Hz. I can not find any documentation or example how do i define MIDI Out in .dsp code. I see only Midi Input documented (as slider).
I have read https://faustdoc.grame.fr/manual/midi/ , of course.
Is MIDI Output of my data, possible with Faust?
P.S. I need it to use with 'faust2lv2'.

hello, I am also searching for MIDI Out possibilities. I want to send a NoteOn/NoteOff to the midi out but can't find out how to do that.

MIDI out is partially implemented, that is not in all backends, with this code:

Compiled with faust2cagtk -midi on macOS correctly output ctrl 10 events following the input level.

I have no macOS (yet). I am try to reproduce with Archlinux:

faust2cagtk -midi midi.dsp (or just faust2cagtk midi.dsp)
gives five errors
c++: error: unrecognized command-line option ‘-framework’

Trying as per docs, 'using the -midi option in most of faust2xx scripts'
faust2lv2 -midi midi.dsp
gives (it is blocking error, not like just warning)
WARNING : unrecognized option(s) : "-midi"
Same with faust2ladspa.

Using declare options "[midi:on]"; within .dsp code, instead of add '-midi' to faust2lv2, bypasses error and compiles complete .lv2 suite. But it have only Midi In port, but not Out. Trying to bruteforce generated 'midi.ttl' to add manually Midi Out port, gives silent out port.
I wish to help/contribute with all best i can, but i am too weak with C++.

ca means CoreAudio here, so macOS only.

Then yes, MIDI everywhere and consistent is still a goal to reach...
