@estib-vega we should already be able to search by author name or email, was there something more that you were expecting?

I think a github-style search syntax would be nice to have. It would be interesting to write a little spec for the syntax so we can make use of it in future functionality too.

I'd be more than happy to see an initial prototype of what you're suggesting. @estib-vega do you have any thoughts on the matter.

Yeah, description of this issue is outdated.
It just seemed to had been misbehaving but now looks like it's working.

Yeah, I agree. Allowing for fine-tuned search is a must have IMO and the github-style search seems to be nice enough.
I can take a look at that :)
