Random Background(s) - Multiple Images and/or pulling from image hosting site

Wondering if it's possible to add support for putting multiple images in the background folder so each time the page loads, the background is either picked randomly or sequentially. Or even like other start pages, using an image hosting page's (unsplash for eg) API to load a new image, random or from a user defined gallery to use as the background.

I asked a similar question and @joncrangle was kind enough to offer this workaround.

I'm not familiar with Variety, but if you're interested in a quick-and-dirty way to set a random background image, you can use the Unsplash random endpoint with some query parameters to pull a random background image of a specific size that rotates every time you refresh the page.

I'm not sure if this addresses what you're looking for exactly, but thought it might be helpful to share.

Example:

background: https://source.unsplash.com/random/1920x1080/?dog,cat

It works perfectly for my use case with the following:

background:
image: https://source.unsplash.com/random/1920x1080/?mountains,blackandwhite
opacity: 30
