Moving to Discord?

How does everyone feel about moving General discussions,announcements and support to a discord channel.Nothing against anyone but this is what I've noticed that @shamoon is mostly helping/supporting most of the issues that arise. I feel it would help facilitate more interaction as well as there would be more people who can help or contribute.

I’m not particularly interested in this. I find discord to generally be a disorganized mess and certainly not effective for triaging potential bug reports. I also don’t particularly trust discord as a company (sure Microsoft but in the GitHub space they have proven themselves to be often an ally to open source and at least a stable platform).

Im not sure why fewer people chime in on the threads here than discord but both are perfectly open and free to use. Basically I see them as complimentary and no reason not to keep them both available

I agree to your opinion. I don't have mind having both discord and GitHub co-exist but my only concern is would it gain more traction? I mean I've seen some other discord servers have a certain level of community/collaboration engagement but I would like to see more people to chim for this specific repo.
