Description
I have a dual-boot system, and would like to be able to see Glances network service widget regardless which OS I'm booted into. The problem is that both these OS:es name the Ethernet adapter something different, on Windows it's just
Ethernet
, but on Arch it'senp7s0
. I'd like to avoid renaming either adapter, and Glances supports setting an alias in its configThe alias can be queried in the API so if a behavior could be implemented that gives
alias
hierarchy overinterface_name
that should solve my issue as I can change the alias for both OS:es to match the name Homepage is looking for. Or simply just adding a separate option to define an alias for homepage to look for instead of the name of a network interface.Other
