Google Calendar widget shows old entries

Hello,
I integrated the calendar app and used it with a secret google calendar (https://calendar.google.com/calendar/ical/.../private-.../basic.ics).
If and only if I select today in the calendar it shows the current entries as it should BUT also many (in my case 15) more entries with wrong timing from a completely different date. (these entries seem to be all entries from recurring events).

What can I do to get rid these entries?

How often these events are recurring?

I've managed to reproduce this bug now when it's a monthly recurrence, but I want to see if there is any other type that causes this?

Looking at the solution for monthly recurrence, there isn't a nice way of solving it without doing it ourselves, as rrule parses monthly events wrong. :/

@xwox I couldn't replicate the issue with weekly occurrences.
It would be helpful if you share the recurrence behavior of one of the broken events, or even better if you can find the event in the .ics file and share the contents without private info between BEGIN:VEVENT and END:VEVENT lines.

@denispapec: One more observation: the wrong events only shop up if I select today's date. If I klick on any other date the calendar events appear correctly.
