monitor websites whether online ? status display

How do I bring the status of my web pages whether online or offline on the homepage home page... every 5 minutes a ping will be enough

If you add them as services instead of bookmarks you can use the ping or siteMonitor property to show the status.

Maybe this could be added to the bookmarks too, but I don't think they have that property available right now.

This is the correct solution, bookmarks will stay simple bookmarks, for more info, use a service. Thanks @Nionor :)

Is there a way to display the ping next to the name ? doesn't have to be dymamic... and graphics a bit bigger ?

Overall: please read the documentation and you can review other discussions. A general expectation of self-hosting is that you do your best to work things out yourself before asking other (non-paid) regular folks.

Nothing like what you’re asking for exists, you might be able to do some of it with custom css / js

The stupid thing now is that the page shows 403... so it doesn't work. But the status of the display is green... so that's not very helpful

The site monitor feature works by making an http HEAD request to the URL, and falls back to GET in case that fails. It will not, for example, login if the URL requires auth or is behind e.g. Authelia. In the case of a reverse proxy and/or auth this usually requires the use of an 'internal' URL to make the site monitor feature correctly display status.

Also, by definition, a 403 Forbidden means the URL is "up" https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/HTTP/Status/403

Yes that doesn't tell me much... then different ;) is there a way (maybe with a domain.com/file (ftp) to ping the homepage and show the status if the page is now offline /error or if it is reachable.
