New Hinode installation: how I can import the example content?

Hello! I'm new to Hugo/Hinode, so please excuse the very basic question. I've installed Hugo and got it up and running.

How do I add all the content from exampleSite? If I simply copy these files into the root of the site, everything breaks.

Ah, installed as:

@horieva, thanks for your interest in the Hinode theme. I'd like to point out that you're using an obsolete, no longer maintained version of Hinode. Perhaps the getting starting guide would be helpful.
