The complete catalogue of type mineral specimens is published a updated here https://www.ima-cm.org/ctms. It is just pdf viewer without possibility to search. But it includes all majore fields useful for GeoCASE. Indeed some specimens do not have filled repositories and institutions, but the majority do have. Maybe it will be useful co consider contact them and even datamine the catalogue and provide those data in GeoCASE, according collaboration with IMA Commission on Museums.
