How to access repositories from other PC

Hi everyone, I'm new here and I don't know much about these things. I have a problem that I can't solve. I backed up into a repository created on an external disk of my desktop PC. When I started backrest on my laptop and connected the disk, I didn't see the repositories created on the desktop. I've tried in various ways, even importing the config.json file, but I haven't succeeded. Could you give me a hand?
