You can create one through the command palette (which I believe will give the workspace a random name):

Or you can use lua as described in the docs: https://wezfurlong.org/wezterm/config/lua/keyassignment/SwitchToWorkspace.html

But I can really recommend looking into MLFlexer/smart_workspace_switcher.wezterm which I mentioned in the post. Then you can use zoxide to register paths throughout your system and register a hotkey (like this) in your wezterm config which brings up the fuzzy finder.
