#29 is great, but, if ran against a content dir with a lot of user mentions, even though the cache can be built up after starting up, the cache gets nuked when restarting the bot process

for local development, a persistent cache would be nice

during production, this can probably be disabled so discordgo is in full control of the caching mechanism, maybe
