Selection of Hebrew text by right/left arrow keys moves in the wrong direction.

That includes:
Shift + Left
Shift + Right
Ctrl + Shift + Left
Ctrl + Shift + Right

Thunderbird 128.5.2esr (64-bit) BiDi Mail UI 0.15.2.
On Linux Kubuntu 24-10 KDE Plasma 6.1 Wayland + x11.
Thunderbird was pre-installed using Snap.

I will try to find time this coming month to get to some update and maintenance work on bidimailui.

Anyway - I do see this; but I'm not sure this is my bug, as I don't manipulate the selection direction. Questions:

  • Do you see this with plain text only, or also HTML email?
  • What happens if you disable BiDi Mail UI?
  • Can you reproduce this with a clean profile (without, then with, BiDi Mail UI)?

Same issue with plain text and with HTML. Same issue when BiDi Mail UI is disabled. Same issue in a clean profile (with/out the extension).

It doesn't look as a bug of the extension but maybe an option to switch left and right keys while the shift key is pressed can solve it.
