Change the format of this meeting?

In the past this meeting was kind of a "scrum standup meeting" where people told what they did and what they will be working on. While that was helpful in the past it's probably not that helpful today. e.g. given we now have proper changelogs which makes it easy for the community to follow what changed.

Question: What needs to be changed to make this meeting more useful to the community? Also, is the schedule useful?

I would suggest considering altering time, because late in afternoon it's quite hard to join and also east side of globe is not able to join.

Also submition of topic might change little bit, because current version is that topics appears just short time before the meeting.
