Beta 2 Release and Known Issues

This is the second release of eryph (beta 2 - internal version 0.2).
With this release we fix some minor issues and one major issue of first beta.

Another big change is the way the inventory of VMs is handled. In the past, it was only updated when the scheduled inventory was run. Starting with Beta 2, we will monitor a number of WMI events that will automatically update the VM state in seconds.

Getting started

Installation instructions can be found at https://www.eryph.io/docs#installation.
If you already have eryph installed, use Install with Options and the -Force option to update. Alternatively, you can uninstall eryph first and then reinstall it using the default installer.

The samples repository at https://github.com/eryph-org/samples contains a tutorial and some deep dive examples of what you can do with eryph.

Known Issues and Limitations

• If installation fails due to missing DLLs such as VCRUNTIME140.dll, see Installation - Missing VCRUNTIME140.dll #295
