<p>ERA (the makers of PARTY) did not code an auto-upgrade system in the 1st release:</p>
<p>1. For security reasons.</p>
<p>2. Cause they didn't have time before the party started.</p>
<p>So this 1st upgrade needs you to follow instructions.</p>
<p>Then, hopefully versions after that will be easier.</p>
