GJS is an official binding for the JavaScript language to build GTK apps. It's used to power a bunch of GNOME's built-in apps. This means that the worlds most-used programming language can be used with one of the most elegant OSes. That's a lot of people who could be writing native apps instead of relying on Electron.
This talk would assume no knowledge of how to build a vala/meson app and show someone with just JS skills how to build their own apps for eOS6.
