Videos won't work

When i implement a video in a slide, there is just a blank screen on the display.

What is the extension of the video file and the codec used for the video compression ? That might come from an unsupported codec from the web browser side.

And on what OS and what web browser are you using ?

On my side, using Firefox on Windows, i just tried a 2min length video mp4 Mpeg Part 10 AVC, worked as intended :

missing codec in your ubuntu installation ? Could you give a try with Firefox and a Windows installation ?

The purpose of the installation is to run videos on an IPad with iOS 13.3.1 and Safari. On my ubuntu, everything is working fine after your tipp, thank you for that. But on my IPad, the videos won't work.
