So, CSS has the ability to do drop shadows on text, making the text much easier to read. When displaying text on a sign, this ability would help immensely. Being that it's already a feature of CSS, is there a way we can implement drop shadows in our slide text?

This would definitely be possible through CSS but unfortunately there's currently no way to style LibreSignage slides using CSS. Slide styling via CSS is a feature that has been requested before, though, so I'll keep this in mind.
