the 7th guest in scummvm not working

What happened?

Ik have copied all of the files from de cd into E:\roms\SCUMMVM\7thguest
I have also placed the empty file t7g.svm in there
I have rebooted the SG350 when i start the 7th guest the screen go black and after a4 or 5 seconds the retroarch main menu starts
when i Quit Retroarch I return to the scumm vm menu of simple menu
I have placed the secret of monkey island files in E:\roms\SCUMMVM\monkey
I have placed the empty file monkey.svm in there
this game starts up normally
When i quits this game it returns into the retroarch main menu
I have not installed another game as i only own the two mentioned above

I used the data in win scummvm on windows 10 and it works perfect
So i think the problem is with the RG350 version
