Nothing happens

Hello, I'm trying to use this library to make my 7.5 inch v2 display work.
I'm running the example application on the PI (EPaperDisplayType.WaveShare7In5_V2)

The application runs but there is no output on the display.
Using .net SDK 8.0.404 and libgdiplus version 6.1+dfsg-1+b1 is installed.

Each individual command also takes a real long time (to do nothing)
Initializing: 51192 ms
Waiting: 1996
Sending: 11868 ms

For reference, if I run the waveshare python example script epd_7in5_V2_test.py the screen does work and I get the correct output.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks.
