pcdm.org has gone offline #82
Comments
Princeton is working to add this to our static site infrastructure, and then we'll ask for the domain to be transferred to us (see pulibrary/princeton_ansible#5787). Related, I notice that the publisher links to https://duraspace.org, which is also offline. Should we link to https://lyrasis.org/ or maybe it should be https://library.princeton.edu/ since we'll be hosting it? |
@ruebot @azaroth42 @acoburn @kestlund @barmintor @awoods It's been a minute, but I thought I'd ask you all if you have thoughts on the "publisher" of PCDM in case you're still interested. |
Thanks, @escowles . |
No concerns from me. I'm just happy that someone noticed it had gone offline, knew where to raise the issue, and cared enough to do so! (Thanks @anjackson!) |
Nothing to really add here other than I set this up many years ago before it was decided to have pcdm live with Duraspace. Happy to hand that org over if anybody wants it. fwiw, pcdm.org still times out for me. Might be worth figuring out who contact to get it back online. Also do we know who if it even owned by Duraspace anymore? The whois info for it isn't clear. |
Hello!
I just noticed that https://pcdm.org has gone (connection time-out). Thought I'd raise it here in case you didn't know about it.
Thanks,
Andy
